"Secondly, don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want."

I've just finished watching Sixteen Candles and 10 Things I Hate About You (a recommendation there by Kai Ni). They're both oldies and I think that one thing which old movies have in common is that they're actually really simple, plot and character wise, and I like it. I love them from the settings to the way the characters dress. Everything's just so old-school, it's so cooool, I think I wouldn't mind living in that era hahah. Btw, there are cute guys in the shows too hehe. Patrick from "10 Things I Hate..." was so adorbzxzx especially when he was being sweet toward Kat, and that accent... His accent is just to die for *.* Like why do movies constantly give girls false impressions of guys )": All these things which guys do in the movies, they will never happen in reality, or at least not in Singapore. There may be a possibility that it'll happen in the States - another reason why it would be better to live there hahahahah I know I should be thankful for being able to live here and all, but apart from being a safe place, I would very much like to migrate )-:

Anyway, throughout " 10 Things I Hate...", I was wondering where the title made any relevance to the show at all, and was waiting for them to play 'I Want You to Want Me'. Btw I love that song, it's stuck in my head. I actually knew bout it from watching Mobbed, when the guy sang it to the girl (awwww ikr). Only later did I find out that the track was covered in "10 Things I Hate..." Back to what I was saying - I was wondering, and it was only at the end did they show the link of the title. I actually counted and it was exactly 10 'I hate's (': If you don't get it, go watch the show to understand what I'm sayin'. It was so cute hahah and they only played the song at the end too, but I didn't see any link in that at all l o l like the song had no link idk why. It was like just a track to end off the show.... but i still like it (-: Think I'm gonna watch Big Fish next, and Moonrise Kingdom which is a 2012 show strongly recommended by Clara Lee.

Sorry about ending with a rant because I'm feeling so fed up with my mum because she constantly procrastinates and never actually does what she says. I'm trying to not pick up that bad habit, which I think may just run in the family. It's as bad as empty promises. Urghhh makes me so angsty about how I'll always end up being disappointed time and again
